All Seasons VT, Inc. (formerly incorporated as Four Seasons Healing, Inc.) is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit counseling and retreat center located in Cabot, Vermont. Israel Helfand and his wife Cathie founded Danbury Personal Counseling in 1984, in Connecticut, and in 1993 they moved to Vermont and founded this counseling practice to provide personal, business, and marriage counseling.

All Seasons Counseling and Retreat Center provides services in four areas:

Marriage Quest - Intensive marriage counseling in a weekend retreat, where a couple with a failing marriage meets with Israel and Cathie Helfand on a couple-to-couple basis. These services are described in detail on our MarriageQuest.Org web site.

All Seasons VT - Marriage and personal psycho-therapy on a regular and continuing basis. These services are described in detail on our AllSeasonsVT.Org web site.

Corporate Quest - Corporate team building based on group sessions and individual retreats in a "vision quest" atmosphere. These retreats, held in our twenty acre wooded area, are described in detail on our CorporateQuest.Org web site.

SoulAwakening - Individual and group "vision quest" style retreats to celebrate personal rites of passage are held in the camp sites in our wooded area. You are on the web site that describes these services.

Being present at the birth of a child is a magical, spiritual experience, perhaps one of the most transformative experiences in life. The birth of a vision that leads to a life of service or to one’s lifework, has similar power. We honor the diversity of all people's need for personal growth and spirituality as well as to celebrate our oneness in the human family. We acknowledge the universal healing that Nature freely gives. We are trained psychotherapists, outdoor educators and guides. Over time and with much help we have put together rituals and ceremonies to help awaken our authentic selves and free our spirits.

Israel Helfand M.S., PhD., is trained in Marriage and Family Therapy, Relationship Enhancement, Psychodrama, Hypnosis, Divorce Mediation, Wilderness First Aid, and Vision Quest Leadership. In addition to Soul Awakenings, Israel is committed to restoring his nineteenth-century farmhouse and fields. Israel has been a Clinical Member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy since 1984. He has practiced Marriage and Family Therapy in Connecticut, New Hampshire, and Vermont, and is currently licensed in Vermont. To see Israel's resume click here. Cathie Helfand M.S., has a Masters in Counseling, and a Bachelors in Human Development and Family Studies. She has post graduate training in Relationship Enhancement, Psychodrama, Group Dynamics, Outdoor Education, and Natural Healing. She has enjoyed working with people in corporate Employee Assistance, for the Boy Scouts of America, and as co-director of Lightgate Learning Center. Israel has written articles for many newspapers and magazines over the years, and he has appeared on television and radio shows in Connecticut and Vermont.

Today the Helfand's Soul Awakening programs are described in John Muir's Healing Retreats and Spas, Spa Magazine, and in Fodor's Healthy Retreats, 5th edition.

His video tape, Men in the Making with Ari Kopolow, M.D. was made from clips of various talks including their gala event in Westport, Connecticut to over 250 people in 1991. Men in the Making, a 45 minute video on men's issues, including intimacy, purpose, work, and relationships, by Israel and Ari, is no longer available.
